Lit App 2: Read 20 books of your choice, analyze and respond to each, categorize the stories in a manner of your own design, explain the system, then complete a comparison/contrasting project about the stories. Use visuals, excerpts, and reviews.
Lit App 3: Read 30 books [20 Fiction, 10 Non-Fiction Biographical] of your choice. Explain how and why you selected each of the books you did. Create visual timelines of each story, showing the character arches, and story points. Compare the visual timelines, and explain similarities and differences between stories.
Lit App 4: Read 40 works [10 Fiction, 10 Biographical, 20 pieces of theater] of your choice. Explain how and why you selected each work. Analyze and respond to each; Find an interesting way to organize and “present” your analyses.. Create a timeline of when the works were created, explain how circumstances in the era affected the author and the story’s content. Consider common influencing factors and compare how the authors responded to those influences in their works. Create a story in a form of your own choosing having characters from multiple different works interacting in a setting of your choosing.
